The Chancel Choir of WPPC is an important part of our worship each Sunday! We gather to practice at 10:00 AM each Sunday and welcome new members. If you love to sing we certainly have a place for you to serve. The Choir strives to offer contemporary and traditional anthems, along classic soprano, alto, tenor and bass parts... but are open to any and all talent levels! A willingness to sing unto the Lord is the only prerequisite!
The Presbyterian Pickers are a string ensemble that focuses on gospel songs and hymns played in the bluegrass style. Members are Michael Ledbetter (banjo, dobro, guitar), Zoe Ledbetter (mandolin), Bill Nixon (electric and upright bass), and Jerry Ledbetter (dulcimer). The "Pickers" offer special music on Third Sundays of each month, and occasionally play for special services at other churches.
The Handbell Choir at WPPC is open to anyone with a desire to "make a joyful noise unto the Lord!" We most often hold seasonal practices focusing on Advent and Christmas, and sometimes Easter! If you're interested in joining the Handbell Choir see Zoe Ledbetter and express interest. We certainly have a place for you!
